Achieving Growth

Gloria Salazar Doula Services

It has been such a pleasure to work as a doula for the past 29 years. I am overjoyed to help so many families transition into parenthood. Seeing the different needs of each family, I decided to pursue further education.

I am now a birth doula through DONA and a lactation educator through CAPPA. My main goal is to empower families to create a lasting bond and feel confident taking care of their new bundle of joy.

I am a proud member of Joy in Birthing Foundation. JIBF is a nonprofit organization that provides doulas free of charge to pregnant women that are in homeless shelters, teens, and victims of domestic violence or/and abuse. ABOUT GLORIA:

Hi, my name is Gloria Salazar. I was born and raised in El Salvador, and for the past years I've lived in Los Angeles.

I My journey began in 1995 when I started working as a full-time nanny. I have experience with children of all ages, including newborns.

Throughout my years working as a nanny, I was around new mothers, and saw the challenges that the postpartum period can bring.

I took the DONA International postpartum doula training so that I could expand my knowledge and help mothers through this period.

Having worked as a postpartum doula for more than 29 years, I discovered an effective way to improve sleeping habits.
